Misconceptions

Think You knew the truth?

...

Think agian!

(Aside from the blog I made on series of misconceptions we get from the media, I am also starting a series of misconceptions that we get from school. ;) )

:o Just so you be reminded, we go to school in order to learn. Learn things essential for the preparation of the greatest journey in life - Living. We study how things are made and why they are made; how things work and why it needs to work and; study the ones responsible for these things made and learn from them.

Now what if some of the facts we learned aren't really facts at all? What if the resources we depend on failed to give us the true details? What if we were just being too lazy to look for the truth? :/

Now how about this: let's put our feet back on solid ground and walk through reality.

First off:

The First Lunar Rover or the Moon Buggy was invented by a Filipino

I myself learned this in elementary and was amazed at the fact that a filipino took part in one of humanity's giant leap. The name Eduardo San Juan was imprinted in my mind of being one great filipino.

Now as a grown man and a man who loves science, I always look forward to new learning. Out of this quest for greater knowledge I stumbled upon a disturbing truth. Eduardo San Juan having invented the moon buggy was a false claim! :o

Uncover the truth:
